Make the same change to hundreds of products in a Shopify or WooCommerce CSV, with a before/after preview and undo. Your file never leaves your device.
Free · UnlimitedChoose a product CSV file
A Shopify or WooCommerce product export (CSV), up to 20 MB. Read on your device, never uploaded.
What the Bulk Product Editor does
Upload a Shopify or WooCommerce product export and make changes to many products at once: find and replace text in titles, descriptions, tags or vendor; add text before or after titles; add or remove tags; set the vendor, type or category; write SEO titles and meta descriptions from a pattern; fill image alt text; clean up messy description HTML and extra spaces; make size and colour names consistent; and build every variant combination of a product with its own SKU and price.
Each edit can apply to all products or only to those that match a filter, such as products whose vendor is a certain supplier or whose title contains a word. The file is read and edited in your browser and never uploaded.
Preview, undo and a file that imports
Every edit is a step you can undo, one at a time or all at once, and the preview shows each changed product with its old and new values side by side, so you see exactly what will change before you download. The download is in the same format you uploaded (Shopify or WooCommerce CSV) and is checked with Findora's CSV import validator, which warns you if an edit introduced import errors.
SEO fields and alt text in bulk
Patterns like “{title} | {vendor}” or “Shop {title} from {vendor}. {description}” fill SEO titles and meta descriptions for every product, shortened at a word boundary to 60 and 155 characters, the lengths search results usually show. Choose to fill only empty fields so hand-written ones stay. For WooCommerce the fields are saved in Yoast SEO's columns, which the WooCommerce importer stores when Yoast is installed. Alt text patterns can include option values, such as “{title} {option1}”, so each variant image is described.
How to use it
Export your products from Shopify (Products › Export) or WooCommerce (Products › Export), choose the file here, and check that the platform is detected. Open an edit, fill it in and apply it; repeat for the next change. Watch the preview and the checks for duplicate titles and SKUs, products without images and SEO fields that are too long. When you're happy, download the edited CSV and import it with “Overwrite existing products” (Shopify) or “Update existing products” (WooCommerce).
Frequently asked questions
Is my product file uploaded?
No. The file is read and edited in your browser and never leaves your device. Your activity history only records the file name and the number of edits.
Will the edited file import into my store?
It keeps the same columns and format you uploaded and is checked with the CSV validator before download. Always import a small test first and keep your original export as a backup.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Undo removes the last edit, Reset goes back to the original file. Nothing changes in your store until you import the new file.
What does the variant builder do?
It creates one variant for every combination of up to three options (for example 3 sizes × 2 colours = 6), with SKUs built from a prefix and the values and the price you set. The product's existing variants are replaced.
Does WooCommerce support every edit?
Almost: WooCommerce's CSV has no product type or image alt text columns, so those edits are only offered for Shopify files. Brands use a Brands column when your store has brands.
Does it use credits?
No. You need to be signed in to edit and download, but the Bulk Product Editor is free and unlimited.
