What the price analyzer shows

The price analyzer reads a Shopify or WooCommerce store's public prices and summarises them: the average and median price, the lowest and highest price, a chart of how many products fall into each price range, how many products are on sale and their average discount.

Prices are what a shopper pays today: the sale price when a product is on sale, and the lowest option price for products with variants. Every number comes from the store's own public product list, in the store's own currency, and nothing is estimated.

How it reads the store

Findora reads the store's robots.txt first, then its public product list at most one page per second, up to 2,500 products. That is about 10 requests on a Shopify store and 25 on a WooCommerce store, so a large store can take up to half a minute. The results always say how many products were included, and whether the store has more than were read.

Products without a public price, for example ones that ask you to log in or request a quote, are left out of the price figures and counted separately.

How to use it

Paste the store's address and press Analyze prices. Each analysis uses 1 credit, only when results are shown; if the store can't be read or doesn't allow it, no credit is used. Analysing the same store again within 24 hours shows your saved result for free, and you can check again for fresh prices.

Why it matters

Knowing where a competitor's prices sit helps you position your own: whether a store is budget or premium, where most of its range is priced, and how heavily it relies on discounts. A store with half its products on sale at a 40% average discount tells a different story from one that rarely discounts. To compare products one by one, discover the store in Findora and export every product with its prices to CSV.

Frequently asked questions

Which price is used for products with sizes or colors?

The lowest price among the product's options, the same 'from' price a shopper sees on the store. On-sale products use their sale price.

How is the average discount calculated?

For each product on sale, the discount is the difference between the regular and the sale price, as a percentage of the regular price. The average is taken over the products on sale only.

Why does it say only part of the store was analysed?

To keep requests light, the tool reads at most 2,500 products. For a larger store, the results are based on the first 2,500 products the store lists, and the page says so.

Does an analysis use a credit?

Yes, 1 credit, only when results are shown. The same store within 24 hours shows your saved result at no cost.

Are prices converted to another currency?

No. Prices are shown in the store's own currency, exactly as published.
