What the store info checker shows
The store info checker gathers the basics a Shopify or WooCommerce store publishes about itself: its name, its platform, the currency it sells in, how many products it lists, and its collections (Shopify) or product categories (WooCommerce) with the number of products in each. On Shopify stores it also shows the store's myshopify address, but only when the store makes it public.
Everything comes from the store's own public pages. When a store keeps something private, the tool says "Not public" instead of guessing.
About the myshopify address
Every Shopify store has an address ending in .myshopify.com, even when it uses its own domain. Some stores publish it in their public store details and many don't, so the checker can only show it when the store shares it. WooCommerce stores run on WordPress and don't have a myshopify address at all.
How to use it
Paste the store's address and press Get store info. Findora reads the store's robots.txt first, then sends at most one request per second; a check takes a few seconds. Up to 250 collections or categories are listed, with a note when the store has more.
Each check uses 1 credit, only when there is a result. If the address isn't a public Shopify or WooCommerce store, or the store's robots.txt doesn't allow it, no credit is used. Checking the same store again within 24 hours shows your saved result for free.
Why it matters
A store's collections or categories show how it organises its range and where its products are concentrated: a store with 300 products in one category and a handful elsewhere is a specialist, not a generalist. Together with the product count and currency, that's a quick profile of a competitor or supplier before you dig deeper. To see every product, discover the store in Findora and export it to CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the myshopify address not shown?
Shopify stores only share their myshopify address in their public store details when they choose to, and many don't. When it isn't public, the checker shows Not public rather than guessing.
Do WooCommerce stores have a myshopify address?
No. Only Shopify stores have one. WooCommerce stores run on WordPress with their own domain.
What's the difference between collections and categories?
Shopify groups products into collections; WooCommerce uses product categories. The checker shows whichever the store uses, with the number of products in each when the store publishes it.
Does a check use a credit?
Yes, 1 credit, only when there is a result. If the store can't be read or doesn't allow it, no credit is used. The same store within 24 hours shows your saved result at no cost.
Why are some details Not public?
Stores choose what to publish. Findora only reads public pages and never estimates missing details.
