Product CSV templates for Shopify and WooCommerce
These templates give you the exact columns Shopify and WooCommerce expect when you import products, so you can add products in a spreadsheet and import them in one go. Each platform has a blank template, with just the column names, and a sample template with three fictional products from Findora's demo stores: a simple product, a product with variants and a product on sale.
The templates use the same format as Findora's own import files, and every template passes Findora's CSV validator, so you start from a file that is known to import cleanly. The sample products have no image links: add your own public JPG, PNG or WebP links in the image columns.
How to use them
Download the template for your platform and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Keep the first row (the column names) as it is, fill in one row per product, and save the file as CSV (UTF-8). For products with sizes or colors, follow the sample file: on Shopify, every variant gets its own row with the same URL handle; on WooCommerce, add a variable product, then one variation row per option with the parent's SKU in the Parent column.
Before importing, check the file with the CSV import validator to catch missing columns, bad prices and broken variant rows. Then import it from Shopify admin → Products → Import, or WooCommerce → Products → Import. The sample products import as drafts, so nothing goes live by accident.
Why it matters
Most failed imports come from a missing or misspelled column, or variant rows that don't follow the platform's rules. Starting from a correct template avoids both. The column guide below explains what each column is for and which ones are required, so you know what to fill in and what you can leave empty.
One more tip: when your spreadsheet asks how to save, choose CSV UTF-8. Other CSV options can turn accented letters, currency signs and long dashes into unreadable characters during the import.
Frequently asked questions
Are the sample products real?
No. They are fictional products from Findora's built-in demo stores, made for trying Findora. Replace them with your own products.
Which columns are required?
For Shopify, Title, URL handle and Price. For WooCommerce, Type, Name and a regular price on simple products and variations. The column guide on this page lists every column.
How do I add sizes and colors?
On Shopify, one row per variant, all with the same URL handle, and the option names on the first row. On WooCommerce, a variable product row, then one variation row per option whose Parent is the variable product's SKU.
Do I need to sign in to download?
Yes. The column guide is open to everyone; the downloads need a free Findora account and never use credits.
Can I convert a template to the other platform?
Yes. Fill in the template for one platform and use the Shopify ⇄ WooCommerce CSV converter to get the other platform's format.
