What it does
Choose a CSV, TSV, Excel or JSON file and split it into parts of a set number of rows, or of at most a set size in megabytes. Every part repeats the header row, so each one can be imported on its own. All parts download together as a ZIP, numbered in order.
Why split
Shopify accepts product CSV files of up to 15 MB, many email and marketing tools limit rows per import, and some spreadsheet programs struggle with very large files. Splitting by size keeps every part under the limit; splitting by rows gives you even batches you can import and check one at a time.
How to use it
Choose the file, then set the number of rows per part or the maximum size of each part in megabytes. The result lists every part with its number of rows before you download, so you can adjust the size until the parts suit your import. All parts download together in one ZIP file.
Private and built for big files
Product catalogues, order exports and supplier price lists often contain hundreds of thousands of rows and information you'd rather not upload anywhere. The toolkit reads the file on your device, in a background worker so the page stays responsive, and shows a preview of the result before you download it. Nothing is sent to Findora's server, and the tool keeps working without an internet connection once the page has loaded.
Good habits for spreadsheet files
Keep the original export untouched and work on copies, name new files with the date (for example products-2026-10-17.csv), and glance at a few rows in the preview after every step. Before importing products, check the file with Findora's CSV import validator, so a wrong column or price is caught before it reaches your store.

Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and converted in your browser and never leaves your device. Your activity history only records the file name, the mode and the number of rows.
Is the header in every part?
Yes, every part starts with the header row.
Will a Shopify product be split across two files?
Splitting by rows or size can separate a product's variant rows. Import the parts in order, or use a slightly larger size so products stay together.
How big can the file be?
Up to 100 MB. Large files are read in the background, so the page stays responsive; the preview shows the first rows and the download contains everything.
Does it use credits?
No. You need to be signed in to see and download the result, but the CSV toolkit is free and unlimited.
