EXIF & metadata remover
Check photos for hidden camera details and GPS location, and remove them before you publish. Your photos never leave your device.
Free · UnlimitedEach image is saved again from its pixels only, so camera details (EXIF), GPS location, XMP and comments are removed. The list shows what each file contains now.
What the metadata remover does
Add up to 50 photos. The list shows what each one contains: camera details (EXIF), a GPS location, XMP data from editing software or text comments. The remover saves each image again from its pixels only, so all of that is left out, and you can download the clean images one by one or as a ZIP.
Everything runs in your browser; your photos are never uploaded.
Why remove metadata
Photos taken with a phone often record where they were taken. If you photograph products at home, publishing the original files can reveal your address. Metadata can also include the camera or phone model, the date and time, and the software used. Most large platforms strip it when they process uploads, but many smaller sites, marketplaces and file shares publish the original file as it is.
What stays the same
The picture itself, its size and its format. JPG and WebP are saved again at high quality (92), which looks identical; PNG stays lossless. Orientation is applied to the pixels, so photos still appear the right way up.
What metadata can reveal
EXIF data can include the exact date and time a photo was taken, the phone or camera model and its serial number, lens and exposure settings, and GPS coordinates accurate to a few metres. Editing software adds its own details in XMP. None of it is visible in the picture, but anyone who downloads the original file can read it with free tools. Removing it before publishing is a simple privacy habit.
Part of the Product Image Toolkit
This page opens Findora's Product Image Toolkit with this mode selected. The same images can also be resized to Shopify or WooCommerce sizes, converted to JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF or ICO, compressed, cropped, renamed, rotated, watermarked or cleaned of metadata: switch modes at the top and the results update. Each batch takes up to 50 images of up to 40 MB, and every file shows its size before and after, so you always know what you're downloading.

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, and your images never leave your device. Your activity history only records how many images were processed.
How do I know if a photo has a GPS location?
Add it to the list: each file shows the metadata it contains, including “GPS location” when there is one.
Is any quality lost?
PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP are saved at quality 92, which is visually identical to the original.
Do Shopify and WooCommerce remove metadata?
Shopify's image service generally strips it from the copies shown to visitors. WooCommerce (WordPress) keeps the original upload, so removing it yourself is safer.
How many images can I convert at once?
Up to 50 images at a time, each up to 40 MB. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP file.
Does it use credits?
No. You need to be signed in to see and download the results, but the image toolkit is free and unlimited and never uses credits.
