Rotate (clockwise)

What it does

Add up to 50 images, choose a rotation (90°, 180° or 270° clockwise) and, if needed, flip them horizontally (a mirror image) or vertically. Every image is saved again in its own format and can be downloaded one by one or as a ZIP.

Everything runs in your browser; your images are never uploaded.

Why photos end up sideways

Phones store photos in the orientation the sensor captured and add a note saying how to turn them. Many programs read that note, but some websites, marketplaces and older software ignore it, so a photo that looks fine on your phone appears sideways after upload. Rotating here saves the pixels the right way round, so the photo looks right everywhere, and the orientation note is no longer needed.

When to flip

Flip horizontally to make products face into the page, to match a layout where every product faces the same way, or to fix a selfie-camera mirror image. Be careful with products that show text or logos: a mirrored label reads backwards.

Rotating many photos at once

When a whole photo shoot came out sideways, add every photo and rotate them together. If only some are wrong, process those separately: rotation applies to all images in the list. Flipping and rotating can be combined, for example 90° plus a horizontal flip, and the preview list shows the new width and height of each image so you can check before downloading.

Part of the Product Image Toolkit

This page opens Findora's Product Image Toolkit with this mode selected. The same images can also be resized to Shopify or WooCommerce sizes, converted to JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF or ICO, compressed, cropped, renamed, rotated, watermarked or cleaned of metadata: switch modes at the top and the results update. Each batch takes up to 50 images of up to 40 MB, and every file shows its size before and after, so you always know what you're downloading.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, and your images never leave your device. Your activity history only records how many images were processed.

Is quality lost when rotating?

PNG stays lossless. JPG and WebP are saved again at high quality (92), which is visually identical.

My photo already shows correctly here. Why rotate?

Your browser applies the phone's orientation note. Saving the image here bakes that orientation into the pixels so it shows correctly on sites that ignore the note too.

Can I rotate by a custom angle?

Only 90°, 180° and 270°, which keep the image sharp and the same size.

How many images can I convert at once?

Up to 50 images at a time, each up to 40 MB. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP file.

Does it use credits?

No. You need to be signed in to see and download the results, but the image toolkit is free and unlimited and never uses credits.
